Introduction to Eco-Dying

Join Nelson Fibre Artist Sharyn Croft for an introduction to natural dying. This beginner evening workshop will give you an insight into utilising natural dye colours readily available from food scraps and foliage, presenting you with options for future experimentation in your own kitchen and garden.

Embroidery with Alice

Alice aka ‘It’s just haberdashery honey’ is an embroidery artist from Māpua who currently resides in Pōneke. Her work focuses on Aotearoa’s land and seascapes and making experiences in the outdoors come to life. In this workshop you will learn some basic embroidery stitches and work on creating a landscape piece that Alice has designed which you can take home and continue to work on.
